Someone wires you $2M today, no strings. What's the actual move? Real answers, not "index funds and chill." Mine: $500K index, $800K into two boring local service businesses, $200K private credit, $500K cash. Go.

$800K into service businesses, easily. One cleaning route or a self-storage facility beats most angel checks I've seen — and you can actually watch the cash flow.
Pay off the house in cash first. The psychological value of a zero mortgage is wildly underrated in these threads. Can't be stressed about a payment that doesn't exist.
